This is the second time I have used LawCrossing, and I remain as pleased as ever with the results. Getting laid off was a pretty jolting experience, but amongst all the resources and job listings available to lawyers seeking employment, LawCrossing stands alone as the single most comprehensive listing of available jobs on the Internet. Beyond having probably the biggest compilation of job listings, LawCrossing has a stellar search function which not only allowed me to tailor my search hits to the jobs best suited for my circumstances, it allowed me to set up saved searches that would send me an e-mail every time a new job listing was posted fitting my specifications. It was through this feature that I finally found a job - I responded to the perfect job as soon as the e-mail hit my in-box, and within 24 hours, I had gone in for the interview, and fortunately, I was offered the job. In this difficult economic environment, being one of the first to respond can make the difference, and LawCrossing helps you do that. Also, I enjoyed Harrison Barnes' blog/e-mail articles about the job market. They brought helpful perspective to the job hunt as well as firm politics, etc.
